“NextGen” is a shortened version of Next Generation. It’s young people from cradle to college. It’s inclusive of every person who falls into that demographic. It is an age group of young people who are literally the next, rising generation. NextGen isn’t another program – it’s a philosophy. It has unified vision, purposeful planning and steadfast prayer for the rising generation.
We are taking an approach to ministry that considers all age groups together, we’re always thinking about what’s next. We’re preparing babies to be toddlers, fifth-graders to be middle schoolers and eighth-graders to be freshmen and beyond, and everything in between. NextGen sees the big picture, with a clear view of what’s coming up ahead.
As ministry leaders and volunteers, we work together to prepare the next generation. With this comes better communication and understanding, which benefits everyone. Together we create curriculum, build community and mainstream calendars.
When we collaborate with intentionality, the families in our church are unified. We work together towards one vision that is well-planned, communicated and executed.
