How it works…

What I expect of you…

Any pastor / church wanting to take part in the 1820 Project must commit to the following:

A minimum of 10 Brave Christians who will covenant for one month to put God first in the following ways:

1.      Meet once a week to learn how to fast and pray.

2.      Work at least 2 hours a week in the church and do a daily good deed.

3.      Give God one-tenth of your earnings.

4.      Spend from 5:30 to 6:00 each morning in prayer and study of Scripture.

5.      Witness about your experience with God to others.

What you can expect from me…

I will commit to be with you during the 30-day journey. I will need travel expenses, room and board but expect no other compensation. I will facilitate your group(s) of 10 Brave Christians during those 30 days and preach a revival series of four sermons. I will provide any other training as requested prior to my arrival.

What we can expect from God…

I cannot promise miracles (nor should you trust anyone who does!). But, as Pastor Mark Batterson says, “When we do the things God’s people did in the Bible, God does what he did in the Bible! When we turn to God in prayer and repent, he renews our hearts and revival is sure to follow!
